This, to my mind, is the most spectacular of the resupinate fungi. The cobalt blue has to be seen 'in the flesh' to be truly appreciated - but the colour in my photos hasn't been enhanced in any way! Lydiard is only the 5th site for Wiltshire and was only discovered a couple of weeks ago by our county recorder. This is a mature specimen in it's prime!
