There are in excess of 10,000 different species of birds in the world. By far the largest concentration of bird species are found in South America with over 3,200 species. In comparison, approximately 1,000 different bird species have been seen in Europe, over 400 species breed here.
Contained within 34 galleries are over 1650 images of many of these species.
